December Photos

It's been some time since our last update, it's been busy around the house with the holiday season with Noah's birthday, Christmas, and Eloise getting bigger by the day. But though it was a busy December it was a good one. This was the first year that Noah really "got" the idea of Christmas and Santa, and waking him up on Christmas morning to all the presents sitting under the tree brought back all the excitement of Christmas that I remember feeling as a child. Christmas day came and went too quickly, but Jana and I are already looking forward to next year.

Eloise continues to be an incredibly sweet and happy little girl. Santa brought her a glider chair for her bedroom, which has been wonderful for her and us. Eloise normally loves cuddling, but even more so when we're sitting in her chair. She's also close to walking, and is adorably imitating lots of noises and sounds. It's hard to believe that she'll be a year old in just a few months, time just keeps moving faster and faster.

I've started posting photos on a different website, simply because it's easier for me to upload them there and allows people to download them at full resolution (which this site doesn't). We will continue to post updates on this site, but you'll just have to click a few extra links to get to the photos.

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we took the kids to Goebbert's, a farm/pumpkin patch/petting zoo, and met my mom, my brother Jon, and his fiancee Johanna there. We went last year as well, and seeing Noah running around this year, and thinking of him last year, it struck me how much he's growing up. Time flies.

We had a great time, but I'll let the photos tell the story.
