Noah turned four months old today, and we celebrated by taking him to the doctor to get a few shots... Well, that's not how we celebrated, but that did happen. I left work early (really early) and came home to hang out with Noah and Jana, and to take Noah to his appointment. Also, my cousin Tucker's fiance Laura was in town as she's trekking from New York to Portland, so she spent the day with us as well. All in all, an awesome day!
Now, on to Noah and his doctor visit. Noah checked in at 16 lbs even, and 25 inches, putting him in the 75th percentile in weight and the 50th percentile in height (he was previously in 50th for weight and 75th for height). During the visit Noah was incredibly happy and playful, and was basically smiling the whole time. Dr. Gehle had fun playing with Noah, and said Noah pretty much made her day. The check went well, with the doctor saying Noah looked great and that she wouldn't be surprised if he was crawling before 6 months (he was wiggling around A LOT). Noah did get two shots, and he cried a bit, but it really wasn't too difficult to calm him down, and so far we haven't seen any side effects, knock on wood.
Finally, as has been tradition, we posted some pictures of Noah in his 4 month "tie", with more on the web album. Enjoy!
