Crawling Soon?

Noah isn't crawling yet, but it looks like he's getting close!  You can see from the pictures below that he's able to hold himself up on all fours, but he isn't motoring about yet.  Once Noah does start crawling you can bet I'll post a video, but we're already excited about the thought of watching him scoot his little butt around!

Also, I posted the last picture below because it gives a good look at Noah's eyes.  It looks like they're turning brown, but it's still hard to tell.  We'll see what happens!

Vacation Pics

Our week in Wisconsin was nice, as it always is, even though the weather didn't cooperate.  Just about every day was overcast and rainy, so we weren't able to get out much, but it was obvious that Noah was enjoying the company of his family.  And it was great that our family had so much time to spend with the little guy, I could tell how much they all enjoyed their time with Noah (even when waking up to his babbling at 6 am...).  So even though the weather wasn't great, being able to share real time with Noah and his grandparents, aunt, uncles, and my extended family was great!

Dad's New Toy

For father's day Jana got me a new lens for my camera, which will help me take even better pictures of Noah.  I've been playing with the lens over the last day or so, and the thing takes amazing pictures.  I posted all of the new pictures below, and you can expect there to be plenty more.  However, you may have to wait a bit, as we are going on a family vacation up to northern Wisconsin with my family.  We'll be gone for a week, but when we get back I will post all of the new pics (and I'm sure there will be plenty).

Noah's Newest Trick

As I said in the last post, Noah has been babbling a lot, but he's also learning to make some totally new sounds too.  Lately Noah has seemed to enjoy making a bffffffp sound (as if he's "motor-boating"...).  There's two videos showcasing Noah's "talent", and personally, I can't get enough of them.  I hope you enjoy them as much as we do, and make sure to turn the sound up!

Six Months Old!

It is hard to imagine, but Noah is officially half a year old today.  At his last doctor's appoint, which was about a week ago, Noah weighed in at 18 pounds and 26.5 inches, both falling between the 50th and 75th percentiles.  But he's come a long way in the last month.  Noah sits entirely on his own, has a crazy love for baby food, and has been babbling on and on and on about, well, something.  He's as happy and healthy as ever, which means the same goes for Jana and me.  In keeping with tradition we have new pictures of Noah in his latest tie, some of which are below.  But, there's plenty more on the web album, along with a video of Noah snoring, so make sure you check that out too!

Our Anniversary

Today (Sunday) Jana and I celebrate our 2nd anniversary!  Tonight we are going out for dinner and a movie, and will be leaving the little guy at home with our friends Aimee and Fizz.  And during the day, we'll just enjoy our time with Noah and maybe get out for a walk or go to the park.  Our treat for everyone else is some new pictures of Noah.  Also, tomorrow Noah turns six months old, which means you can expect a new post, with a new tie, and an update on how big our man is getting.  So, enjoy!
