Pictures from the last few days

I added about 40 new pictures to the web album, so be sure to check it out.  They're mostly pictures of Noah crawling, playing and "reading", pretty much the only things a baby does besides eat, sleep and poop (and I don't think you want to see pictures of that...).  On the crawling front, Noah is getting more mobile each day and seems to love his new mode of transport.  We really need to keep an eye on him now!

More Crawling Videos

He's Crawling!

Well, Noah has seemed ready to crawl for weeks now, and today he finally busted out!  Noah was on his playmat, being cute, so I started taking pictures of him.  He loves the camera, and started crawling towards me!  I kept scooting back and Noah kept crawling, and in all he probably went about 15 feet.  I didn't get a video of this first go, but we started over and I set up the video.  In the video, Noah only crawls a few feet, but we will post more videos as we get them, so stay tuned!

New Album

We decided to start a web album devoted to the "best tie picture" for each month (thanks to Katie for the idea)!  It was hard to pick one photo for each month, and I'm not even sure I actually ended up picking my favorites, so maybe the album can be "one of the best tie pictures" for each month.  But each month, this album will allow us to look back at Noah and see how he has changed, because we already can't believe how much he's growing up and getting bigger.  So follow the link below and enjoy!

7 Months!

Noah turned 7 months old today which, of course, means new pictures of Noah in his new tie!  I've probably written this before, but it feels like just yesterday that we were bringing Noah home from the hospital, while at the same time it seems that he's always been in our lives.  It's a strange contradiction, and likely a nod towards how much our life revolves around the little man.

Noah in the Pool

On Tuesday we brought Noah over to Grandma and Grandpa Bendik's to go swimming in their pool.  This was Noah's first trip in the pool, and while it took him a few minutes to get acclimated, it seemed like he really enjoyed the water and started having a lot of fun with it.  Before long Noah was splashing and kicking and probably would have stayed in the pool all day if we would have let him.  The pictures below tell the story.  We were trying to keep Noah out of the sun as much as possible, so some of the photos are a bit backlit and shaded, but you can tell how much Noah was enjoying it all.
