Halloween

We took Noah out on Sunday for his first Halloween.  We didn't actually do any trick-or-treating, but we did go down to Southport Ave. where they closed down a section of the street for the little ones.  So it basically ended up being a nice walk for the three of us, but Noah was pretty much in awe of all the people dressed up in their costumes.  Noah himself was alternating between a train conductor and a cowboy, depending on what hat he was wearing.  We finished the day by meeting a few friends out for lunch, so all together it was a nice day!  All of the pictures are below, and sorry there aren't more but Halloween is a little uneventful when the kid can't walk around on his own...

10 Months (a few weeks late...)!

We finally got around to taking Noah's 10 month photos, so check the web album to see more than what's posted here!  It's hard to imagine that Noah will be a year old in just about a month and a half.  When we first had Noah so many people told us that time really flies once you have a kid, which is the truth, but we've appreciated every day that we've had Noah and can't wait to watch him grow up.  But there's definitely been those days where we wished he would stay this size forever, he's just so darn cute.

New Photos, 10 month photos to come soon...

So, in case you didn't notice, Noah's 10 month day came and went, and we don't have any pictures of him in a new tie to show for it.  The past few weeks were very very busy, but we have steadfast plans to take the pictures this weekend.  We'll just have to consider them the 10 1/2 month photos.

Fall Photos

We took Noah's first set of fall photos today, making the most of the nice weather and a day off of work.  In Lincoln Park there's a nice little pond with a walkway, trees, and a lawn, which turned out to be the perfect place for some photos.  Noah was loving the leaves but, surprisingly, didn't really try to eat any of them.  Maybe he's realizing that not everything in this world is meant to be tasted.  Our little boy is growing up...
