Halloween

I posted some pictures of Noah on Halloween, and a few others of him having fun around the house.  Noah enjoyed Halloween, and had requested that he dress up as a robot.  So, Jana put together a robot costume made of a cardboard box, but we couldn't convince Noah to put it on.  In the end, he chose a skeleton costume from the store.  Not our favorite costume, but like so many things, Noah makes it cute.

Pumpkin Patch

A few weeks ago we took Noah out to Goebbert's Farm to pick some pumpkins and see the animals at their petting zoo.  Momo (grandma Ogrodnik) was able to join in on the fun.  Noah was able to feed giraffes, pet and feed some of the fifty different animals they had, play in the pumpkin patch and go for a pony ride.  Noah also picked a pumpkin for us to paint (I'll post pictures when it's done).  Maybe his favorite part, though, was the "pumpkin eating dinosaur" that they had.  You can tell from the photos that it was a good day.

Hello!

It's been about two months since our last update, which I guess is a nod towards how busy we've been around here.  With work being busy, Jana and I being in the process of building a home in Elmhurst, and with Jana being about 17 weeks pregnant, we've had a lot on our plate.  I haven't been able to keep up with my photos of Noah, but I do have a number of new photos on the web album, as well as a few videos.  So, Noah is doing great.  He continues to be happy, healthy and adorable, and I swear, every day he does something new that becomes our favorite.  And while we don't yet know the gender of our next one, Noah seems pretty convinced that the baby is going to be a girl, and he wants to name it "Doggie".  We are obviously excited about adding to our family, but we're just as anxious to see Noah as an older brother - I think he'll be wonderful.

Enjoy the photos, and check the web album for a few that aren't posted below.  And you'll want to watch the videos with sound.  There's one that I couldn't get to upload, so I posted a link to Youtube.  That video is all black because we took a video of Jana singing Noah a bedtime song, so don't think something is broken just because there's no image, it's just sound.
