We're home!

We came home from the hospital Saturday evening, so we finally had our first day home.  Noah was happy to see Eloise when we brought her home, and has been gentle and affectionate with her.  Noah is such a sweetheart that we didn't really think he'd have trouble with Eloise coming home, but still, it warms our hearts to see how softly he kisses and touches Eloise.  He's handling everything so well.

Eloise is doing well.  She's eating and sleeping well, and continues to be calm and content.  She's still sleeping most of the day, but will have an hour here and there where she'll be awake.  Jana and I are completely taken with our gorgeous little girl.

Our first night with her went pretty well, with her sleeping in the cradle for a few hours at a time.  Only once did I need to get up to hold her for more than a few minutes.  Last night was even better, so here's to hoping Eloise is a good sleeper.

Finally, I added some new photos to the web album, some of which are below.  I thought I had posted the photos of the grandparents with the last update, but I can't believe I forgot them - I'd meant to give them top billing.  I'm hoping to get some photos of her and Noah, so stay tuned for those!
